How do I clear my cache?
Your browser's cache acts as a temporary storehouse of previously downloaded pages. To ensure a fresh page load every time (especially important if you frequent our Talk forums) we recommend clearing your cache file occasionally. To do this, follow these basic instructions (steps may vary according to your browser, platform, and computer settings):
1. Under your Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
2. Under the General tab, look for your Temporary Internet Files.
3. Click on the Delete Files button and click OK to the pop-up warning message.

If your pages aren't loading correctly, please wait for the pages to load completely before clicking on links.

What is the best way to search for content on this site?
• To access valuable Chatelaine.com content just type a keyword or two into the search engine box, located in the top portion of the right-hand navigation on every page. Remember to select our Recipe Finder if you are searching for recipes.
• Also, take note of our different departments. Whether you are interested in style, food & recipes, health & fitness, home decor, work & money, or are looking for ways to spend your spare time, we have something to suit your needs. You can see each department's highlights by scrolling your mouse over the navigation at the top of the home page. Or, click on the home button (the first link in the department's drop down menus) to access tons of great content specific to that section.
• In addition, we provide all our great content in an archive format. If you are looking for something you have read before, or simply interested in past articles we have written, the best place to look is in each department's archives – accessible from the drop-down menu of each department.
