The best thing for the pimple is to dry it up. I had a huge, honking pimple on my nose a couple years ago and put toothpaste on it. Overnight it had dried up and wasn't quite so obscene. I don't know if you have enough time but it's worth a try. Use the white toothpaste, not gel.
